Tie Breaker:
The SMHA Hockey Pool is an amazing fundraiser which saw over $35,000 go towards players' team fees last year.
How it works:
For anyone new to SMHA, all hockey pools sold will go directly towards players' Team Fees. For example, if you sell 5 hockey pool entries, $100 goes towards the players team fees.
Hockey Pool Rep:
Each team will have an assigned Hockey Pool Rep. Thank you to Mike Charlton who stepped up to fill this role! If you have any question regarding the hockey pool, please reach out to him directly.

Official Rules:
- Each hockey pool entry (ticket) costs $20, multiple entries are allowed
- Name on entry forms must be at least 19 years of age
- Players do NOT get a free entry in the Hockey Pool
- Entry Cutoff Date: Saturday, November 16 at 8:00pm AST. All entries must be printed and submitted to the Hockey Pool Rep (Mike Charlton) by this time.
- Payment must be received by Team Treasurers by the Entry Cutoff Date.
- Online entries cannot be accepted.
- Box Pool, select 1 player per box.
- No Trades Allowed
- Scoring: Goals - 1pt Assists - 1pt Wins - 1pt Shutout: 1pt
- Points are accumulated from the beginning of the NHL Season (Oct 4th, 2024) until the end of the Regular Season.
Prizes:
1st Prize - $10,000
2nd Prize - $2,000
3rd Prize - $1,000
- 2 Way for 1st Place: 1st and 2nd place prizes will be combined and divided evenly
- 3 Way (or more) for 1st Place : All 3 prizes will be combined and divided evenly.
- Same rules apply for 2nd place ties.
