Rec Evaluations Update - September 23, 2025
Players currently in the competitive tryout process who are released to Rec will join the Rec evaluations next week and will not be added to this weekend’s sessions.
Updated player groupings will be posted Monday, so please stay tuned for those updates.

Rec Evaluations – Schedule & Process Update
We’d like to provide a few quick updates regarding the Rec Evaluation schedule and process.
- Please review the upcoming Rec Evaluation ice times below for U15.
- Player groupings will be posted shortly, so please check back to this page for updates.
- These groupings are not final teams. Initial ice times will include players currently registered for Rec Hockey.
- As players are released from the competitive tryout process, they will be added to the appropriate Rec groups.
- Following the evaluation process, we will hold balancing games to help create teams that are as evenly matched as possible. Player movement may occur as needed.
- Players will receive an evaluation jersey when they sign in on their first scheduled ice time.
Coaches & Volunteers Needed
If you are interested in coaching or volunteering, please email vprecreation@flyershockey.ca and come out to help with evaluations. We always appreciate the extra support during this busy time of year!
